Headquartered at Northwestern University, Segal Professional Bridge (SPB) is a resource for Northwestern students interested in design and innovation. We connect you to the professional design community through mentorship, industry visits, design-related events, and workshops.

Here’s What We Do.

Industry Visits

Getting into the offices and studios of professionals is the best way to get a feel for innovation in the real world. We organize regular visits to local consultancies and other innovative groups to get you a peek behind the scenes.

mentorship

Having a mentor is like having a trusty guide on your journey to who-knows-where. Our mentorship program pairs students with mentors who have experience in a particular innovation fields to help them path-find a way into design.

INNOVATION WORKSHOPS

Design and Innovation workshops fill in the gaps that students need to launch successful innovation careers. Workshops allow students to collaborate with those around them, learn new skills, and develop strategies they can use in the future.
